From The Kitchen This week will be taco salads and strawberry smoothies.
Dance Team The WHS Dance Team will be holding tryouts for the 2024-25 season. Tryouts will be held in the main HS gym at 2pm on Friday, May 3rd. All dancers will learn a short combo that they will use for tryouts. No experience required, but tryouts are mandatory for the upcoming season.
Yearbook Yearbook orders are due April 30! If you are interested in purchasing a 2023-2024 yearbook, you can order through your School Pay account, or stop by the front office with $55. Check with your household, or Ms. Hammel, before purchasing because many have already placed orders. If you want to order a yearbook and pay later, reach out to Ms. Hammel in room 158 to reserve your copy.
Job Fair There will be a Job Fair at WHS on Tuesday, May 7 from 10:30-1:00 in the auditorium lobby. This is for all WHS students. Any student who is interested in getting a job now or for the summer, please stop in. Students can sign up in the counseling office to get a pass for the Fair or stop in the Fair during their lunch shift on this day without a pass.
Volunteer Opportunities Would you be interested in volunteering at a Kidz Fest Booth on Friday, May 17 from 4:15-7:30? You would be helping with games like ring toss, hula hoops, etc. Contact Lisa Miller (with Grace C Mae) at 319-653-2950 or email lisa@advocatecenter.org to sign up. Thank you!
