Stewart Elementary School

Mrs. Six’s second grade class taught students and staff at Stewart Elementary what it means to be responsible during the monthly character assembly. Students were challenged to be responsible at school, home and especially in the lunchroom this month. Second grade TRRFCC Kids of Character were also recognized for always being trustworthy, respectful, responsible, fair, caring and for being great citizens. We are proud of our students at Stewart Elementary and can’t wait to see how responsible they can be!

STEWART: Review of Procedures PDF Print E-mail

Peer Helpers from the high school helped students and staff remember how to be kids of character and follow the procedures during a recent assembly at Stewart Elementary. Procedures for the playground, lunchroom, bathroom, hallway, specials, and classroom are posted around the building as visual reminders for students. Students earn white tickets for individually following the procedures. Blue tickets are given when an entire classroom is following a procedure appropriately. When Stewart reaches a certain amount of blue tickets, we earn special activities as a school. It felt good to get 2015 started off with some laughs and reviewing the procedures. Thank you Peer Helpers for being so amazing!

STEWART: Rock In Prevention PDF Print E-mail

Stewart students and staff rocked out with several high school mentors and Todd Stevens from Rock in Prevention during the most recent assembly. Each student had a chance to sing and dance while learning how to be healthy kids of character. They each also received their own CD with songs from the assembly to take home. A huge thank you to the amazing high school mentors who helped out during the assembly!
