Financial Literacy Fair Volunteers Needed PDF Print E-mail

Come help our 8th graders learn about Financial Literacy. In class, students learn about life decisions that affect financial well-being. Based on their interests, they select a career, and determine gross & net salaries. Then they attend The Fair to face the reality of monthly bills for necessities (housing, transportation, food, etc.) and extra expenses. When they have made their financial decisions, they’ll meet one-on-one with a financial counselor to do the math & discuss their choices! A quick 30 minute volunteer training is provided before students arrive.
