Pictured is 9th grader, Addison, showing off a shirt she made in Sewing class. The first few weeks of the class consisted of learning about fashion influences, color schemes, silhouette styles, necklines, and other fashion terminology. The first project required each student to sew pajama pants, and then each student must complete four free-choice projects before the end of the term. For her shirt, Addison chose a pattern that features a boat neckline made out of a tie-dyed jersey fabric. Addison is currently working on completing a sundress.
